Makura-gyo (Last Rites)

Literally translated “Pillow Service,” the Makura-gyo is performed for loved one whose death is considered imminent or has just passed away. It is an opportunity to express love and gratitude for having had that family member in their lives, and to ease the pain and shock of the immediate family members and close friends. Rev. Shuji is on-call 24 hours a day and may be contacted to perform this service.
